The Revealing of the Man of Sin
The end time is marked by those that rebel, revolt, subvert, stumble at and to whom the apostolic doctrine of Christ, is scandalous; these are those who give heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; they speak lies in hypocrisy; their conscience is seared with a hot iron; because they live in sin, they oppose the apostle’s doctrine of Christ and exalt themselves above Christ and the doctrine of the Church; these prance around in the congregation as if they are God, having not a godly reverence for those things that are divine. The Lord Jesus Christ shall fight for mount Zion; for as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the Lord of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; The Lord Jesus Christ seats in the pinnacle of the church. He sits in the chief place. He sits as head and as the only potentate. He sits as kings of kings and Lord of Lords. In the Church which is his body, Christ is adored, praised and worshiped as One God. All nations and kingdoms of the earth shall bow before him. Christ holds the chief place, both in the foundation and the he chief place in the height of the church. Christ holds the he chief place, both in the depth, height and breathe of the church. From this glorious and awesome height, Christ pours out in the midst of the church: "The Hope of the Glory of God". Hope is defined as joyous expectation. Glory is defined as that splendor, brightness, magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace, and majesty which Christ exhibited in his resurrection and subsequent exaltation to the sit of power. In Christ own words it refers to the disciples of Christ being translated to be as angels. It is that angelic new immortal body the disciples of Christ receive upon the arrival of Christ in glory. 2Th 2:3
It is that we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. Every disciple that has this hope in him purifies himself in obedience to the apostolic doctrine. The most astonishing and marvelous secret kept hidden from angels, and not revealed to the prophets; but made manifest in the preaching of the apostles is expectation we have to sit with Christ in his throne in a resurrected body of immortal splendor, magnificence and majesty. Christ wrought this marvelous blessing when He raised himself out of death and ascended to his place of eternal power and dominion. The Lord jesus Christ ordained before ever the earth was formed to accomplish this for his saints through the redemptive blood of his painful and glorious cross. Our inheritance is the rich glory of his inheritance. In this godly expectation we stand and have access to the riches of this glory because of Jesus' own personal confidence and expectation.
Jesus of Galilee gave this expectation to the apostles when after his passion he allowed the apostle to touch and handle his immortal and glorified body. They heard, saw and handled eternal life bodily. They saw and handled the literal body of God in his stupendous body of glory. What a marvelous blessing Christ has given us as a gift through faith in his blood. Only we must fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life. We must press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. We must earnestly contend and remain faithful to the apostles doctrine delivered to us; for surely we shall reap if we hold fast to sound apostolic doctrine and do not faint.(Rom 5:2; Eph 1:18; Col 1:27).
When will Christ Come
The Church is the literal body of Christ in the earth. As such we are fulfilling the rest of the suffering of christ due to us as the preachers, teachers, missionaries, devoted disciples and believers of the risen Lord. Our mission is to obey and proclaim the apostolic doctrine and conduct ourselves in a godly manner which is pleasing to God our father, in the midst of a perverse and wicked generation. As Jesus is the speech of God made flesh; his speech incarnates itself in us in the preaching of the apostles. The preaching of the apostles is the power of God that gives salvation. The preaching gives salvation because it is backed up with the resurrection of Christ. Christ has incorporated himself in the doctrine of the apostles. He has taken us his abode in the congregation and individuals whose life is built according the specification given by commandment to the apostles; and which commandments they have faithfully delivered to us. . The apostles exhorts us to have fellowship with them because their fellowship is with the Christ of God. God (the eternal spirit placer, and creator) in Christ formed his initial congregation and built his glorious kingdom on them.
These born again, regenerated, new creature had stamped upon their conscience, yet even on their regenerated soul the likness of the the image of God in Christ. The apostles Paul alluded to this this when he asserted that some in the church of corinth received his even as an angel of Christ. The apostles preached their experience of the crucified and risen Lord God almighty. The apostle John said: Whosoever transgress, and abide not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abide in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that bides him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. But God be thanked, that many of you were the servants of sin, but now you have repented and obeyed from the heart that form of apostolic doctrine which was delivered you,(2Jo 1:9-11).
Zephaniah said: "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Solomon in 2Ch 6:41prayed: "arise, O Lord God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
The Lord Jesus Christ makes our joy full; He makes it complete. In John 15:11 Jesus says: "these things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full; and in John 17:13 Jesus ask that His joy be fulfilled in us; and that our heart rejoice; and this joy no man can take from us. The Apostle Paul describes this "joy" as that attribute of the Spirit, that shouts with acclamation of jubilee and with triumphant shouts of proclamations, even in the midst of great trial of afflictions, divers temptations, and deep poverty. The Joy of The Lord is that spiritual attribute that comforts, consoles and emits delightful cheer; no matter what the condition or situation. The Joy of The Lord enables us to endure until the end and lay hold on the prize of eternal life.
Scripture says: “the people came ...with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them. 1Ch 15:16 says: “David ..appointed ... singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy. 1Ch 15:25 says: “ David, ..went to bring up the ark of the covenant of The Lord ..with joy”. 1Ch 29:9 says: “the people rejoiced, they offered willingly. with perfect heart they offered willingly to The Lord: and David... also rejoiced with great joy. 1Ch 29:17 says, Solomon prayed saying: “ in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things.. with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee”.
God Makes Us Rejoice
Ezr 6:16-22 says: “as the children of Israel kept the dedication the house of God The Lord made them joyful and strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God. Neh 8:10 says: "the joy of The Lord is your strength; for as they they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced; God made them rejoice with great joy... so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off. Job 8:19 says: "Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favorable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness. But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defends them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Job 33:26; Psa 5:11; 16:11).
The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto The Lord Be glad in The Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let The Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. (Psa 21:1; 27:6; 32:11; 35:27; 43:4; 51:8, 12; 105:43; 126:5; 132:9, 16; 137:6; Isa 12:3).
And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die. The meek also shall increase their joy in The Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of The Lord, and the excellency of our God. And the ransomed of The Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isa 22:13; 29:19; 32:13; 35:2; 35:10).
For The Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of The Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. Therefore the redeemed of The Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for The Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. ..I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The Lord, that he might be glorified.(Isa 51:3, 11; 52:9; 55:12; 60: 3, 15).
Being on One Accord
Being like minded inn the apostle's doctrine; of the same love, of one accord, and of one mind is the habitat of God's joy. The fellowship of the saints in the apostle's doctrine is glorious joy. The sacrifice and service of faith to the fellowship makes joy, rejoice. The rending of thanks to God for the saints causes joy. Rejoicing for the saints before God increases joy. Standing fast in The Lord and seeing others standing fast, emits the crown of joy. Having a desire to see the saints is to be filled with joy. Christ has promised to do whatever we ask, if we ask it with joy. He declares: "Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full". Christ, asserts: "whatever you ask in my name I will do it". Christ, asserts: "whatever you ask with joy, I will do it". Christ, asserts: "whatever you ask in faith, I will do it". To ask or make supplications, in the name of Jesus, to make petition to the center, of God's being. It is to pray with the attributes of joyous praise. We must stay before God until this attribute of the spirit is turned on in us; for this this attribute of the spirit is turned on in us, we will shout and emit proclamations of triumph. When Christ speaks to us, his voice makes us rejoice. We are to look into each others face and speak joy to them; sings hymns, psalms to each other and exhort one another. Let your soul rejoice in Christ, our God!
The Apostasy
When Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered Peter money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, your money perish with you, because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. You have no neither part nor lot in the Apostle's Gospel. Your heart is not right in the sight of God. ..For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. False prophet, you are cursed with a curse, for you bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; False prophet, you are cursed with a curse; for all your works you do for to be seen of men: Dumb Dogs, you are cursed with a curse; for you love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Reverend, Reverend. False prophet, you are cursed with a curse; for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. False prophet, you are cursed with a curse! You devour widows' houses! you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. You hypocrites are cursed with a curse; You blind fools make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. You blind fools are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. You blind fools are serpents a generation of vipers. You shall not escape the damnation of hell. upon will come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. Your house is left unto you desolate. You shall not see me his face in peace, unless you confess: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of The Lord.
If any man teach anything contrary to the apostolic doctrine and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strife of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmising, Perverse disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. Mat 23:1-39; Act 8:18-24; 1Ti 6:3-5.
The Law of sin is resistance against God; and whosoever resist the commandments, resist the ordinance of God. They that resist shall receive damnation. They shall be made afraid by terror as they see the sword of vengeance. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. For except The Lord shorten those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, which he hath chosen, he hath shorten the days. . Isaiah said concerning Israel, though the number of the children of Israel is as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will The Lord make upon the earth. And as Isaiah said before, except The Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodom, and been made like unto Gomorrah..The fundamental temptation promoted by the law of sin is to cause men to resist the worship of Jesus Christ as the only true God; to worship idols and then in the end worship Satan as the true God. The temptations of Christ are the still the strategy of Satan: to divert the worship of Men from the One blessed Potentate to himself. Thus, resistance against the Ten Commandments gradually leads one into the worst kind of sexual degradation, defilement and pollution by demons. Mat 24:22; Mar 13:20; Rom 9:27 –29; Matt 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13).
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shall enlarge my heart. Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight. My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law. Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law. I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law. I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments. The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law. Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments. Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments. The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law. All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me. Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law. Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. It is time for thee,Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law. Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth. for I do not forget thy law. I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments. My soul hath kept thy testimonies; I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. (Psa 119:1-176).
