The Believer's Enablements
The gifts of the spirit are the believers enablements. The gifts of the spirit was given to us in the resurrection of Christ, our Lord. upon completion of the baptism of repentance, deliveres to us gifts to be used in the edification of the body of Christ, evangelism and spiritual moral perfection; for the day of Christ is at hand. Isaiah in 52:1, said: "Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean; for it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance. For as concerning spiritual gifts, we should not be ignorant. We should not be carried away unto the dumb idols, of apostate Jewry and the Gentiles, who know not God. You should, understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, can or will call Jesus or the doctrine of the apostles, accursed; and no man can say that Jesus, is the Supreme God, except by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, says: "Christ speaks, only through, the doctrine of the apostles".
The gifts emanate from the blood washed and quickened, soul. The gifts are the work of the Holy Ghost. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. There are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all. The manifestation of the Spirit, is given to every man, to profit thereby. To to one is given, the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge; to another faith; to another the gifts of healing; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these are the work, of the Holy Ghost. All these is the work of the invisible and risen Lord, walking up and down in our midst. We are one body, for we are all baptized into the name of Jesus Christ; and have been all made to drink of one Spirit. The gifts of the spirit operate in an environment, in which Christ's victory, over sin, is declared. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, is the declaration of independence, from sin, and the manifesto, of the faith of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Jesus Christ, from the dead, is the manifesto of the kingdom of God. A manifesto is a public declaration and defense of the intent and motive, of Christ, the risen Lord. (Joel 2:321Co 12:1-14).
Unto every one of us, Christ has given the full measure, of his gift. When he arose from the dead, he ascended up on high; he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto us. He descended first into the lower parts of the earth, and then ascended up, far above all heavens, so that he might fill all things. The same that descended and ascended, gave some to be apostles; some to be, prophets; some to be, evangelists; some to be, pastors and teachers. He descended first into the lower parts of the earth, and then ascended, up, far above all heavens. Christ, gave these gifts for the perfecting of the saints; for the work of the ministry; for the edifying of the body of Christ; because he wants all to come in the unity of the faith; he wants all to come to, the knowledge of the Son of God; he wants all to come to be that perfect man; Christ wants all to come to be the full measure of his stature.
Jesus Christ is risen from the dead; and his resurrection is the reason why you can live free from sin. You can live free from sin, by having fellowship with Christ through his resurrection. In his resurrection, Christ, gives the power to make free from sin and translate us into his kingdom. I lf you are going to meet God in peace at the appearance of Jesus Christ; you must have the testimony that, by the power of God, you have perfected holiness in the fear of God. At the appearance of Jesus Christ, you will not be able to say that you kept the Sabbath; was baptized in Jesus Name; received the Holy Ghost; preached, sung in the choir, or a multitude of other lame excuses. There is no point in being baptized in Jesus name, if you don not believed that Jesus Christ can keep you free from sin. There is no point of keeping the Sabbath, if you are going to live free from sin by the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
he heathens believe, that if they located the wooden throne of King David; or find the ark of the covenant; or the grave clothes of Jesus; or utter God's name in original Hebrew; or adore themselves with a host of other angelic ritials, that know God or can come to know him. All this is utter nonsense. You can call the name, of Jesus, in as many Hebrew dialects, as you please, and still be lost. You can keep, the dietary laws, and still be lost. Observe the new moon and feast days, and still be lost. Circumcise your self, and still be lost. You might as well baptized yourself in the trinity, since you going to be lost anyway. You might as well join a lady pastor’s church, since you are going to be lost any way. You might as well stay in Babylon, since you going to be lost any way. You might as well be Jewish, for all the good it will do you, for you are going to be lost anyway. One of the righteous apostles, said: "If I, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. This same apsaotle said: "I run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as a shadow boxer; not as a boxer in training, that beats beats the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: unless, that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
The apostle, said, that idf an angel came from heaven and declared anything other than the apostolic doctrine: "let him be a curse". This apostle said, God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead; and nothing really matters, except the new creation. Rather, all these other things must be done, holding firm the Christ, the head of the church.
The main question, you must answer, is: “are you washed in the blood of the lamb”. You will have to address the issue: “what have you done with your life?” Have you put away sin in your body? You will have to address the question: “Have you ceased to be led by, influenced by, or deceived by sin? At the glorious appearing of Jesus Christ, from the heavenlies, you must boldly and with joy, cry aloud: “I am saved by the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ! God, has raised Jesus Christ, out of death, and the new joyous cry is: “ Christ, through, his death and resurrection, has set me free from sin! All praises to his glorious name!
You will be able to rejoice at the appearing of Jesus Christ, because you received the grace of God, given in the preaching and doctrine of the apostles; that grace of God that teaches us to deny ungodliness and live righteously in this present world. The purpose of repentance and baptism into the wondrous name of Jesus Christ is so that, in us, as it is in Jesus, the word of God is made flesh. The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ, must in us be made flesh. This is accomplished in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The resurrection, of Jesus Christ, has made all things possible; for with God nothing shall be impossible; for God has raised Jesus Christ, out of death, and has given him a name which is above every name; that at the name of jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess: Lord Jesus Christ; thou Son of the Living God, you are the Supreme and Eternal God.
When he arose from this dead he ascended up on high; he led captivity captive, and gave fruit unto us. He gave us, the Spirit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. He gave to us, the ability to crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts. He gave it to us, to live in the Spirit. The same that descended and ascended gave to us to walk in the Spirit.
In his glorious resurrection, Christ gave to us, to mortify: fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. In his glorious resurrection, Christ gave to us, to put off anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy and filthy communication. He gave to us to, lie not one to another, because we have put off the old man with his deeds. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: the former creation is passed away; and now the resurrection of Jesus Christ, has made all things new. ((1Co 9:26-27; 2Co 5:17; Gal 1:8-9; 5:22-25; Eph 4:7-13; Col 3:4-9).
The resurrection of Christ upon completion of the baptism of repentance, deliveres to us gifts to be used in the edification of the body of Christ, evangelism and spiritual moral perfection; for the day of Christ is at hand.
