The Almighty God
Christ, the Son of God, is the Almighty God. Behold your salvation, Christ, the Son of God. The Apostle's doctrine publishes that the phrase: Son of God means, the literal setting forth Christ as the judge of the living and the dead; Son of God means, Christ is God in human Flesh, He is the full, complete and only image of the divine nature. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.The Lord Jesus Christ seats in the pinnacle of the church. He sits in the chief place. He sits as head and as the only potentate. He sits as kings of kings and Lord of Lords. In the Church which is his body, Christ is adored, praised and worshiped as One God. All nations and kingdoms of the earth shall bow before him. Christ holds the chief place, both in the foundation and the he chief place in the height of the church. Christ holds the he chief place, both in the depth, height and breathe of the church, (Zechariah 9:9; Isaiah 62:11).
Jesus Christ the ‘Son of God’
And then Jesus, of Nazareth of Galilee, was conceived by the Holy Spirit. This was not complicated for those waiting for God’s Messiah; for this Jesus of Galilee was brought forth in an ancient Hebrew Monotheistic, Levitical and Sabbath cradle. Notice, the sacred scripture said, that the Messiah was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Hence the nature of Jesus of Nazareth is the Holy Spirit. This made the Holy Spirit the father of the Messiah, yet the scripture teach that God is the father of the messiah. Which is correct? Both are true: for God is a Holy Ghost. I says For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, (Isaiah 9:6).
We are commanded by the spirit of God to preach that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Preaching the “Sonship of God” is essential for saving faith and is the determinate factor in obedience and submission to the power of God. The faith of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. Meaning that there are some prophetic events yet to be brought to pass concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. We worship God by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit worships Christ. So the Church is an assembly which begs the Holy Spirit to worship and exalt Christ in their meetings, as head of the fellowship, and in his role as head he will order the gifts and increase the fruit to the furtherance of the kingdom of God. We worship in spirit and in truth. Meaning, we solicit the Holy Spirit to quicken in us the Lordship of Christ. ‘Spirit and truth’ means spiritual service that is intentionally directed by the spirit of God to the Lord Jesus Christ who is worshipped as head of the individual and corporate life.
It is the responsibility of the leaders in the assembly to direct our hearts by prayer, songs, and the preached word, into the deliberate and intentional will of God. That within the context of the ten Commandment and Christ’s own personal faith, our heart and mind is directed by the spirit of prophecy. What does it mean to say: “Christ’s own personal faith”? It means to make supplications of the Holy Ghost to embed in us, the mind of Christ. It means that Christ believed something specific about himself, his mission and his destiny. He believed something specific about the prophetic writing of the Prophets. Christ in his own personal and individual life believed radically that he was God Messiah. He believed that he was God, so much so that He did not have to prove it. Who being in the form of God, did not considered it blasphemous to believe that he was the Lamb of God, (Phi 2:6 ).
Christ lived by faith. He lived in submission to the Father (Holy Ghost). Christ came, to seek and save that which was loss and give his life as a ransom for many. The burden he bore and his faith in the power of the Spirit of God was enormous. This enormity of Spirit and faith is resident in the Church of God, if only we beseech the Holy Spirit to make himself evident unto the praise and honor of Christ, our Lord. Time will fail me to speak at length on this subject, so suffice it to say, that God must be true to his won dictum, that He alone is God and beside him there is none other. So them how does God accomplish the creation of an eternal Kingdom and sit upon it as a human being born of the lineage of David.
The Fullness of the Godhead
Many, 'say' that God is One, while at the same time they, assert that Christ is not God. How dare they say that Christ is not God; especially when the prophets and apostles affirm that Christ is the only God. The problem with these unbelievers is that they do not know how to deal with the terminology: "Son of God". The "Son of God" is an offense to them. He is a stumbling block and rock of offense. The prophet Isaiah said: "Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread; and he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples, Certainly, some are taken; they have fallen; and they are snared. Because, God has sealed his revelations among the apostles. I am certainly glad, that our salvation is not dependent upon these rebels, which utter Luciferic blasphemy.
The truth is the: Son of God is come to destroy the Devil", and those allied with him. The truth is: " Jesus Christ was born of the Holy Ghost". He originated from the Holy Ghost. He is the embodiment of the Holy Ghost. He is the bodily shape of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost manifested Jesus Christ to the world. The apostles preached that Jesus Christ is the Maker of all things visible and invisible; that he is the supreme head of all thing; of things in heaven; of things in the earth; and of things under the earth. The apostles (those who have seen, touched, heard and was taught by the risen "Son of God" ) declare, that Christ is complete embodiment of the supreme deity. The apostles declare that Christ is the incarnated speech of God. These who saw, heard, touched, and where educated by the risen Lord, testify that the Holy Ghost said Jesus Christ is the Eternal God come in the flesh, for the purpose of redemption. Now since, Christ can only redeem his relatives; then of course some are not related to Christ. For one can only be a relative of Christ by confessing in baptism: "Jesus Christ, you are my Lord and my God".
Peter, an apostle, said : "it is contained in the scripture, behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed, . Note now that Peter is referring to same verse of scripture quoted by the prophet Isaiah. Surely, Isaiah confesses that the stone of which he speaks is the eternal God, since he knows of no other God. Isaiah is testifying that the Jews apostatized from the one true and living God. Isaiah repeatedly preached that God is One, throughout his entire ministry; and called Israel to repent, and return to the true allegiance of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, quotes this same verse in which Isaiah testified concerning God. Peter uses the same verse to exhort faith in Jesus Christ. More importantly, the apostles testified: "cursed is everyone that doesn't believe that Jesus is Christ". Cursed is everyone that does not confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Cursed is everyone that does not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. Cursed is everyone that does not confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, (Isa 8:13-16; 1Pe 2:6-9; 1Jo 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2Jo 1:7).
Many stumble , are taken and snared in the "Sonship of God". It is God's "sonship" that gives Lucifer a fit, and makes him foam at the mouth. It is confusing to him, because he senses destruction. God has hid himself, and made himself available only to the eyes of faith. The Eternal Maker, has clothed himself; he has placed himself in the class of man; he has placed himself in the status of a slave. He has done this to created for himself a completely new generation; a completely new order of being. This new generation or order of being, is, his body the church.
The apostles testified that no one knows who God is except, Jesus Christ, alone; and no one knows who Jesus Christ is, except God, alone. This arrangement of utterances, brings to mind the prophetic utterances of Isaiah concerning the Godhead. Isaiah, preached that God is the only savior; only redeemer; only God; only Creator and Maker; God alone is God; and that God does not know of another God. Isaiah said that God does not know anyone even remotely, like himself. God swears by himself and settles all oath by the authority of his speech. There is no mediator, except him and him alone. He is his own mediator. He mediates himself; for he alone is God. In the human realm, a mediator is of two individuals. In the human realm an oath is made by someone greater than ones self or by that which can be placed at liability. But, God confirms his own word; for he is the word. He is the self existent, eternal and supreme Godhead.
The self existent, eternal and supreme Godhead: hung his glory, majesty, riches, honor, wealth, dominion and power on the cross. On cross: the deity suffered and died. On the cross, the Godhead poured out his glory. On the cross crucified, the divine supreme divine nature was put to death. The apostles testified that Jesus offered himself through the eternal spirit. Jesus Christ, sacrifice himself through the eternal spirit, because, he is the eternal spirit. Christ is the eternal spirit, in which, he, in his bodily death offered himself to the divine nature for atonement and expiation.
The apostles preached that the soul of Christ experience torment in hell and was snatched from death on the third day. This snatching of the soul of Christ out of death, was the snatching of his soul from the teeth of the lion. The soul of Christ was delivered out of death. His soul was redeemed from the destruction and the pain of death. Tribulation and anguish, was upon his soul, because Christ was completing the death penalty for the sin of mankind. Being in prison, his soul was persecuted. More importantly, his soul was not left in hell, neither did his flesh see corruption. This ordeal of the torment of the soul of the Godhead in death, reveals the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of the sufferings of Christ, in his salvific and redemptive work.
No body, except, the self existent, eternal and supreme Godhead, could experience and survive a death like this, and rise from the dead after three days. No body, except God, is a savior like this. There is no other God which can redeem after this manner. No one, except the self existent, eternal and supreme Godhead. No one except: Jesus Christ, both our God, our Lord and our savior. Thus, the sonship of God is, the self imaging of God. The 'Son of God' is a self portrait of self existent, eternal and supreme Godhead. Jesus: the son of God, is, the image of God. Jesus: the son of God, is, the brightness and glory of God. Jesus: the son of God, is, the only person of God. He is that person of God, around which humanity can wrap faith and obedience. Christ, the Galilean, the son of God, is, that God that is most immediate to; and sensitive to the needs of humanity. He is that God, that composes the confession of faith in the breath of the believer. The son of God, is that God, has incarnated himself in the doctrine of the apostles; has incarnated himself in the praises of his saints; and has incarnated himself, in the virtuous moral and godly spiritual walk of the believer. Sonship is the incarnation of the divine nature. First in Jesus of Galilee; and now also, in the life of the branches of the trees of righteousness.
Jesus taught the apostles, saying: “in the last days many will come saying: “Jesus is the Son of God”, to deceive many. The deceivers will , ‘say”: Jesus is the Son of God to gather to themselves riches and to traffic in the souls of me. The false pastors will be speaking the truth in Hypocrisy. These vile persons will be speaking morally wickedness; they will be speaking a crime; for their intent is to work and practice iniquity. They will preach error against the Son of God. They will preach: “Jesus is the Son of God” in error. Their preaching will make empty the soul of the hungry; and cause many that drink to die of thirst. Their preaching will not agree with the apostolic message, that: “the son of God” frees and keeps free from sin. These devils will market: “the son of God” as bread, health and riches rather than living a life of moral purity and sanctification through the faith of Jesus Christ.
These be those who crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the power of God to keep free from sin. These be they who have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These be they who are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear. These be they who are clouds without water, carried about of winds. These be they whose fruit withered, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots. These false preachers are they who are raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame. These dumb dogs are wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. The false pastors and women preachers are those who outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. They make a mockery of the Son of God. Jesus, taught the apostles saying: “ Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy”. Beware of these devils; for they will come saying in your name we have preached and cast out devils; to which he reply will be:” Get thee hence, Satan” into the lake of fire and brimstone, prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
These be they who speak lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. These be they who are faking the truth. They speak with deceit. They speak with dissimulation. These be they who are hiding under a false appearence; concealiong who and what they are by false pretense. These are Satan’s children saying: “If thou be the Son of God”. These are devils crying: “ What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? The infidels are saying: “If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross”; saying: “He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God”. These are the devils, who cry: “Jesus ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God”. Nathaniel said: “art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel”.
Jesus said: “I am the son of God”; He asks “Do you believe on the Son of God? For they that believeth Jesus, is the Son of God, is not condemned of sin. He that believeth not that Jesus is the Son of God is condemned already. The dead hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. All scripture is written that we might believe that Jesus is the Christ. All scripture is written that believing we might have life through his name. But, Zion, worships saying: “Of a truth thou art the Son of God”; “ Truly this was the Son of God; and “ I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Apostles preached, Christ is the Son of God. They preached that his sonship was based upon his sinless nature. They preached that his resurrection from the dead, confirmed his sanctification. His resurrection from the dead was with power. The power he had before going into dead: Power based upon godliness.
Gifts are placed in the church to bring all into the unity of the faith that: Jesus is the Son of God. Gifts are placed in the church to bring all into the knowledge of the Son of God. Gifts are placed in the church to bring all into the perfection of the statue of the fulness of Christ. Jesus the Son of God, is passed into the heavens. Rejecting the Son of God leads to eternal punishment. The son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.
Confession that Jesus is the Son of God, is proof of the presence of God in your life. Confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, gives victory sin, death, hell, and Satan. Confession that Jesus is the Son of God, has the witness in himself. He that do not confess that Jesus is the son of God, is a liar. because he believeth not. He that do not confess that Jesus is the son of God, refuse the record that God gave of his Son. Confession that Jesus is the Son of God, is have eternal life. Knowledge and understanding that Jesus is the Son of God; is knowledge and understanding that Christ is the true God, and eternal life. (Isa 32:6; Dan 3:25; Mat 4:3, 6; 8:29; 14:33; 23:28; 26:63; 27:40, 43, 54; Mar 3:11; Luk 4:41; 8:28; Joh 1:49; 3:18; 5:25; 9:35; 10:36; 11:27; 19:7; 20:31; Act 8:37; 9:20; Rom 1:4; Gal 2:20; Eph 4:13; Heb 4:14; 10:29; 1Jo 3:8; 4:15; 5:5, 10, 13, 20; Jud 1:4, 11-13).
