The Law As Christ's Tutor

The School Book of Righteousness

The Law as Christ's Tutor, is the school book of Righteousness. Before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: This ministration of condemnation was glorious. Moses, put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: for their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart; until they shall turn to the Lord, then, the vail shall be taken away, (Gal 3:23-29; 4:1-3; 2Co 3:1-18).

In ancient times, a tutor was a boy leader; a servant whose office it was to take the children to school; It is an instructor, that drives points of the lession home. It is someone that give individual instruction; a domestic manager, a guardian or steward. As such, the Ten Commandments is entrusted to angels. Angels are the the apostles (messengers) of the Ten Commandments. It is their duty to administer blessing and curses for obedience and disobedence respectively. They are ministering spirits, sent to minister for them who are heirs of salvation. The Ten Commandments spoken by angels is stedfast, and they mete out to every transgressor and disobedient, punishment commensurate with the sin. The vengence of Angels for transgression against the Ten Commandments is inescapable. If one should violate the Sabbath, but does not commit adultery; sh/e is still a transgressor and is justly punished by the angels. The angels are here to help; it just so happen that due to sin, a great deal of judgment is executed.

The Ten Commandments are by the disposition/ arrangement, and ordinance of angels; and sin is the transgression of the Ten Commandments; and the payment for such transgression is death. The angels of God, as evident in both Daniel and Revelations, are given over to executing judgment for disobedience and blessing for obedience. Even if one should keep the whole commandment and offend in one point sh/e is guilty of all. Jesus, taught the apostles that he did not come to do away with the Ten Commandments, but give life to them. He came to make the Commandments a living reality in the soul of the church. Jesus, taught the apostles, that the Ten Commandments will remain entrusted ti angels until heaven and earth passes away; and not one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Jesus, taught the apostles, that whosoever shall break even one of commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall not be called in the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do and teach them, shall be called in the kingdom of heaven; for our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of false prophets, women preachers, and the harlot church. Surely, even we shall not enter the kingdom of heaven, if we like them are unbelieving and disobedent, Mat 5:17-20; Act 7:53

Our righteousness must exceed that of the "harlot churh and it ministers". Our righteousness is the Ten Commamdments, as perfected in us by the faith of Jesus Christ. The angels afflict with curses, sickness, disease and even death; and many suffer more than their due portion simply because of disobedience. The false prophet and prophetess, have convinced many that "faith only with out works" is sufficient for salvation. They say, you need to believe in Jesus only. You do not need to observe the Sabbath; abstain from adultery or obey your parents. The apostles teach: "The Faith of Jesus Christ, without keeping the commandments is dead". The Faith of Christ is made perfect by keeping the commandments. Now we are not justified by keeping the commandments. We are justified by the faith of Jesus Christ; and the faith of Jesus Christ is a commamdment keeping faith. We know this because Jesus and his apostles observed the Ten Commandments. All the saints were obedient to the disposition of angels. Heb 2:2; Ja. 2:10.
